More than 219,100 people enjoyed the charm of the light and shadow festival ！

Recently, the 2nd China-Chongqing International Light and Shadow Festival officially came to an end. The 10-day light and shadow feast gained the love and recognition of many citizens and tourists, and the brilliant and eye-catching light and shadow lit up the new year's new start. During the event, a total of 219,100 visitors were received, and many interesting cultural activities were carried out.

December 29, 2023 - January 7, 2024, China - Chongqing, the Second International Light and Shadow Art Festival, debut in Chongqing Jiulongpo District, Chongqing Fine Arts Park. This Light and Shadow Art Festival combines more than 30 colorful cultural and tourism activities, such as the exhibition of award-winning works of 3D Mapping International Competition organized by Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Light and Shadow Art Show, Art Installation exhibition, Graffiti show, Photography exhibition, Fashion exhibition, Children's Art exhibition, Cultural and Creative Bazaar, etc., and presents a new Chongqing with technology that is compatible with both tradition and modernity.

On the night of the opening ceremony, the "Dream-like Light and Shadow" Twin Chimneys light show was carried out, focusing on 25 finalists from 10 countries, including China, Germany, Hungary, Spain, and the award-winning works of the Second International Light and Shadow Art Competition were presented. With light as the medium and architecture as the curtain, the "light and shadow art" is integrated into the "night view of the mountain city- Chongqing", showing the unique charm of light and shadow art.

In addition to the light and shadow show, this year's Light and Shadow Festival also organized  many cultural activities, "Seeking Truth and Beauty" Chongqing Municipal Children's Art Competition and Exhibition, "Fancy Years" Chongqing Municipal Children's Fashion Show, "Niannian Nine Times Solo Performance", "Peninsula Night" Classic Drama Music Festival and so on.

The children's fashion works exhibition was held in Chongqing Fine Arts Park under the theme of "Curious Light and Shadow". The theme of the show is 87 sets of exhibits mainly for parents and children or 3-12 years old children's ware design. In a vivid and lively form to interpret the wisdom and love during the children's growth.

The "Song of Jiulong" concert, "Play Jiulong" City Fashion Outdoor Sports Festival,  Animation Coser Show and other special events bring wonderful artistic enjoyment to people.

The "Fireworks Peninsula" 1984 Gleaner Bazaar is the most popular place of the festival, where hundreds of snack stores are gathered, allowing visitors not only to have fun, but also have a place to shop. In addition, the "Art Bazaar", which consists of cultural and creative displays and art performances by students of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Student Association, also attracted a lot of attention.
